On Sunday, after delaying since December (or late November) 2008, we decided to take the leap and move Riley into a "Big Girls Bed". This is the bed which Emma slept in over Christmas and has been waiting for us to make the move ever since.We made a bit of a fuss about setting it all up and saying good bye to the cot etc.
We expected a bit of a fuss at bed time, which has been happening off and on anyway, but there was none of that.
Riley went to bed quite happily. On teh way past the study (new baby room), she said goodbye to the cot, and went off to bed with no fuss at all.
Tonight is the seond night and so far so good...

She's so small and the bed's so big ... I also hope it continues to go well.
ditto to Mom- I was also going to say such a tiny person on such a big bed.... Yay for Riley!!!
